territory where the spring branch of the Potenza River flows, as well as
several streams, constitutes the current municipality of Fiuminata.
Located on the border with the region Umbria and the Ancona province, the
village stretches for about 77 km and has 150 inhabitants. Fiuminata has
24 hamlets and is completely immersed in the greenery of the
Umbria-Marches Apennine, which reaches here its maximum height with Mount
Pennino (1.571 m.)
