Paved streets, ruins of thermal
facilities and a large portico witnessed the glorious past and flourishing
of this important centre situated at the crossing of the Sentino, the
Marena and the Sanguerone rivers and at the junction of the roads that
connected ancient Attidium and Tuficum - Suasa and Sena Gallica. Here,
already in 600 BC, the Umbri built their homes.
