| The village is located nearly on top of the hill, in the 14th century castle. It is located at 191 m. above sea level. The territory descends gradually to the fertile plain with an average heigth of 50-60 m. The plain still preserves country style houses and villas. Where instead it borders on the 76 road, in recent decades a considerable industrial estate has been developed, with nearly 150 medium and small industries. Outside the ancient castle walls new areas and sport facilities give evidence of the prosperity of the municipality. The temperate climate has always been celebrated for his mildness. Also celebrated his beautiful view, which goes from sea to mountains. His fertile lands produce corn, vine, olive, pasture for cattle, although today intensive monocultures are preferred.
