The Country House La
Sorgente del Sole is located in Stigliano, one of the many small villages under the San
Severino Marche Town Hall.
This one is a really picturesque little town closed to the Montenero hill,
situated in the Potenza’s Valley, 26 km far from Macerata.
This area is rich of medieval and historic palaces.
The hospitality and good kitchen are the specialties of

The guests of the Country House can enjoy the "sweet sleeps" in
double or triple rooms, all equipped with private services and TV.
The Country House offer one "small suite" with a wide balcony
exposed on the valley, from where you can admire a wonderful landscape,
during a nice breakfast or a pleasant whirlpool bath.
It’s possible enjoy of an
independent entrance in a double or triple room for wheelchair and less
mobile people.
All the offers include breakfast. There is the possibility of conventions
with the Marisa's restaurant for the hosts who wish a treatment of average
and complete pension.
The Marisa’s Restaurant is managed by Marisa, David and their daughter
Simona.
They transformed the ancient family’s tavern into a cosy restaurant,
where the kitchen conserve the traditional recipes of the kitchen.
Among many typical plates, you can taste the home-handmade ravioli,
roasted meat cooked on the barbecue, the Italian bacon (prosciutto)
coming from our region and the delicious little artichokes in oil,
prepared for you with care by Marisa.
We propose an excellent wine selection to serve with our gourmet plates.
Besides
you can also buy excellent local products that we have selected for you,
wine and oil from the San Severino’s Reserve "Antico Terreno
Ottavi".
For nature’s lovers there is the availability of mountain-bike tours and
trekking.
How to get there at La
Sorgente del Sole
From the North
Motorway A14 – take the Ancona Nord exit. Take the Headway SS76 to Rome
and exit at the Albacina sign. Follow the directions to Matelica –
Camerino – Castelraimondo, than follow the directions to San Severino
Marche – SS 361. Once you get there take to Stigliano “Ristorante
Marisa”.
From the South
Motorway A14 – take the Civitanova Marche exit. Take the Headway to
Muccia and exit at the Tolentino Est sign. Follow the directions to San
Severino Marche. Once you get there take to Stigliano “Ristorante
Marisa”.
From Rome
Motorway A1 – take the Orte exit. Follow the directions to Foligno –
Fano – Nocera Umbra. Than take to Camierino- Castelraimondo, than follow
the directions to San Severino Marche – SS 361. Once you get there take
to Stigliano “Ristorante Marisa”.
