Agriturismo
Il Melograno is set in a farm. The wood around (3ha) counts up to 2,800 different trees. The fruit orchard is spread over 2 ha. It offers a wide range of products. There are in fact 700 apricot trees, 200 plum trees, 100 cherry trees, Daniel takes personal care in the picking of the fruits. He is proud and satisfied of his work.
Some fruit and jams made by Daniel and Candida are given to some shops selling organic products. They can also be tasted at breakfast in the Agriturismo. This important meal is served in the veranda or in the cosy and welcoming dining room. Candida loves making cakes and bakes something different every morning. Her cakes are always much appreciated.
Candida also makes dinner on request. Her favourite ingredients are local products and organic vegetables bought directly from farmers. She will pamper you. Il Melograno has provided four twin rooms and a single one for its guests. Each bedroom is complete of private lavatory and air conditioning. There is also a room for disabled people and an independent apartment that can host up to for people. It is equipped with kitchen and washing machine.
Betulla, Ginestra, Acacia, Gelso, Acero, Biancospino: just choose a name and you will be given a room where you will get your longed for relax. Each room has been carefully furnished and great attention has been paid in keeping the ancient architectonic characteristics.
The rooms are unpretentious but enriched by elegant details. The wood boards that close the hearths have been decorated with floral elements. They have so become integral part of the furniture itself. If you want some rest and prefer to stay in instead of having a walk outside you can stay in the hall, or enjoy your book on the balcony.
