A typical sharecropper's cottage in rustic stone that has been transformed into an elegant and welcoming residence, Caselle offers those in search of a peaceful vacation in the quiet Umbro-Marchigiano Apennines a relaxing sojourn.
The residence, open all year, is furnished with period pieces and has the original terracotta pavement, completely intact. On cold evenings, enjoy the warmth of the stone fireplaces, recently restored to highlight their beauty and to recall atmosphere of the past allowing the visitor to relive the sensations of country life around the hearth.
The small village of Caselle, made up of three old country houses, is completely immersed in nature among cultivated fields, woods and hills in the perfect, serene country climate. The area is rich in mushrooms and fragrant truffles, found in the surrounding meadows and forests. This is the perfect place to relax, meditate or enjoy many creative activities: trekking, mountain biking, excursions into the surrounding wooded areas - perfect for spending time in close contact with nature and for discovering the most beautiful areas of the Apennine range.

How to get there
Adriatic Highway A14 to the Fano Exit - continue on Super Strada, direction Roma to the Acqualagna Exit. Conitnue for Apecchio on S.S. 257. At the centre of Apecchio, turn left and proceed for 200 metres, then turn lef again, direction Acquapartita for about 6 kilometres. Turn right, following the signs for "Caselle".

The residential structure is surrounded by 80 hectares of farm land, almost all of which is still cultivated; in the various seasons of the year the visitor can enjoy coloured, farm landscapes hard to find elsewhere.

A few kilometres away, the guests can visit Apecchio with its medieval remains, an important fossil museum, the ancient humpback bridge and the beautiful home of the Conti Ubaldini, today the City Hall. Also close-by, Serravalle di Carda, at the foot of Mt. Nerone. Mt. Nerone is equipped with ski-lifts for skiing and is also famous for its grottoes which can be reached by narrow underground passages with the aid of expert guides. There are numerous fossil remains, easily found in areas where the rock formations are within easy view and reach.

In less than an hour by car the visitor can visit historical and artistic cities, as well as famous Adriatic sea resorts like Fano, Senigallia, The Republic of S. Marino, Gradara, Urbino, Gubbio, Città di Castello, Assisi and Loreto.

Il Tramonto (sleeps 4)
Garden entrance into a large living room with fireplace and kitchen area, two double bedrooms, two bathrooms and storage room. Satellite TV, barbecue.

Le Ginestre (sleeps 8)
Landing entrance behind the house; spacious terrace, large living room with fireplace and kitchen area, four double bedrooms, storage room, two bathrooms. Satellite TV, barbecue.

La Taverna (sleeps 2)
Eat-in kitchen, double bedroom, bathroom, mansard.
