Floriani
The Agriturismo Floriani Compagnoni takes
its name from the Knight of Malta Pietro Paolo Floriani, an ancestor of
the family still living in the country house.
A 17th century military and theatre engineer,
he was famous for having designed the ancient walls of the city of
Floriana in Malta.
The Agriturismo Floriani Compagnoni is
located in the heart of the region and only 2 Km from the centre of
Macerata on the panoramic hill of Montanello, the Floriani is within easy
reach of numerous historic and artistic towns throughout the territory.
The Agriturismo Floriani Compagnoni includes
a Villa as a Country House B&B, a large Farmhouse with apartments and
a good restaurant Osteria Floriani.
The country house B&B Floriani
In the former hunting lodge dating to the second half of the 1500s, we
offer accommodation in two especially romantic and comfortable rooms with
an independent entrance,
the ideal spot for guests who would like to
enjoy the silence of an age-old park.
The family archives, which are of
considerable historic interest and among the richest and most interesting
in the region, are kept in the former stable.
The farmhouse Floriani
This house is the typical farmhouse we offer accommodation in two
comfortable rooms with bathrooms with a shower and in three apartments of
different types.
The field in front of the farmhouse, shaded by old mulberry trees, is the
ideal spot to relax and enjoy the incredible view of the city of
Macerata.
Sheets, towels, kitchenware and other basic necessities are provided.
A cleaning service is made available upon request only and the sheets and
towels are changed weekly.
The
Osteria Floriani
The Osteria Floriani is a typical restaurant and a gathering
place for the guests where it is possible to enjoy of a healthy
seasonal cuisine based on traditional recipes.
Extra virgin olive oil are produced from our farm and the same product are
used in the healthy
Mediterranean dishes.
