Casa Vicolo 12 is a period village house located in the heart of the historic centre of Serra San Quirico, in a panoramic position with views over the hills below. The house develops over three levels (ground floor, first floor, basement and cellar) for a total of circa 165 sqm.
The main entrance is situated in the higher part of the village, in Via del Cassero, while the second entrance, giving access to the cellar, is located in the parallel street below, Via Cavalieri.
The main entrance leads into the ground floor, hosting the big kitchen with fireplace, the pantry, the living room and services. A staircase leads to the first floor, where there are two bedrooms. The ground floor and the first floor offer circa 73 sqm living space.
Downstairs from the ground floor is the basement, extending to circa 47 sqm and hosting two rooms and services. The basement gives access the 45 sqm cellar, from where one can exit onto Via Cavalieri via the lower entrance.
The first floor of the house is in need of restoration, while the ground floor is partially habitable, with services in place and connections to electricity and mains water. Also the basement is partially habitable, but the rooms need non-structural restoration. The two rooms in the cellar can best retain their traditional destination, one as the larder, the other as a woodshed or a storeroom.
Casa Vicolo 12 is for sale at €99,000 with the garden.
On request, it is possible to purchase a 60 sqm garden protected by walls as high as the house, located in Via Cavalieri, which could be accessed from the side through the adjacent cellar.
