Places that were once strategic ports for trading activities have now become tourist ports. 

They are well organized, the quays are equipped with every comfort (sockets, water vending machines, storing places, weather service, safety devices, TV aerial, telephones, fax and internet, proximity to restaurant and hotels, private toilets, showers and parking, and the continuous supervision of qualified personnel). 

Lots of elegant boats and fast motorboats and magnificent yachts are docked all year round in these ports.

Baia di Vallugola (not far from Gabicce Mare) boasts an illustrious past. The port was in fact first used by the Romans and Ancient Greeks. Nowadays the Bay of Vallugola is a suggestive inlet surrounded by the stunning vegetation of Parco San Bartolo. 

It offers, together with all the facilities for landed sailors, the possibility of frequenting the local sailing club and the golf course nearby.

The large tourist port in Pesaro was built diverting the Foglia riverbed, and was once much busy trading with the far East. Nowadays the port is provided with comfortable berth structures and appropriate services for all seafarers.

Marina dei Cesari is Fano tourist port. It has been built lately. It is modern and well equipped and boasts nearness with the centre of the city and also a stunning geographical position. It is in fact just a short way from numberless natural beauties, whose importance is both cultural and artistic.

A beautiful statue of Penelope (made by the local sculptor Gianni Guerra) greets the sailor into Senigallia port – once core of maritime trading. Visitors are so welcomed in a port that is equipped to offer several services.

Marinadorica tourist port is next to the commercial port of Ancona and to the city centre.

The little anchorage of Numana is South of Ancona. It is set in the magnificent beauty of the Monte Conero. Thanks to the modern and functional services and structures it has been awarded the Blue Flag. 

The fishing and tourist port in Civitanova Marche is to be visited. The city has an ancient tie with the sea and has well understood how to make innovations and tradition coexist. It is able now to meet the needs of any visitor.

Marina in Porto San Giorgio has also been awarded of the prestigious Blue Flag. It is one of the largest ports in the Adriatic sea. 

It satisfies the requests of all the tourist. The strong relationship with the sea and the favourable position have always had a good influence on the people that inhabit the city. The last quay of the Marche coast is in San Benedetto del Tronto

The beautiful town was once only a small fishermen village (still intact). Its port is nowadays a modern and well equipped of every comfort. It is beautifully set among beautiful and exotic palm trees and scented oleanders
