Parks
Le Marche offer a wide range
of entertainment parks, located on the green hills, concealed in woods or
close to the seaside. People have the chance to spend pleasant moments in
these parks, offering a wide range of activities both for children and
adults.
The
region is rich in unsullied landscapes and boasts many areas dedicated to
entertainment, to complement vacations and relaxing moments. There are
also many opportunities to have fun for the families, including many water
parks, zoological preserves, naturalistic paths and areas dedicated
to children.
The
charming Centro Vacanze Verde Azzurro
in
San Faustino di Cingoli, for instance, offers sports facilities (such as
soccer, tennis, beach volley and basketball courts) surrounded by cherries,
pines and centuries-old oaks. The “oasis” also includes a wide water
park, with many swimming pools, water slides and grand-canyon rivers,
and a lagoon equipped with massage facilities. The water of five swimming
pools is a key element in the Eldorado Park in Apiro, which boasts
the highest slide in Europe, surrounded by a picturesque mountain
landscape. The yellow brooms beautifully contrast with the green woods.
The
Paese dei Bimbi of Falconara, with its wonderful zoo, is indeed a
real kingdom for animals. Animals are kept there bearing in mind their
safety and characteristics, in an attempt to save endangered species.
The zoo is located on a hill facing the Adriatic Sea and is composed of a
green oasis where adults and children can admire animals coming from
several continents. Tours are led by expert biologists and animals
include: cercopiths, giraffes and blesboks from Africa, yak, tigers and
pitons from Asia, emus, cockatoos and kangaroos from Australasia,
flamingoes, turtles and European raptors, iguanas, jaguars and nandus from
the Americas.
The love and respect for nature are the targets set by the pathways in the
regional parks and protected areas of the Marches. Youngsters have
the chance to familiarize with environmental issues and get to know the
many living forms that crowd mountains, woods and streams.
Those
who are willing to experience the classical playful atmosphere can enter
the Play Planet in San Benedetto del Tronto. There, children and
adults are the protagonists of endless adventures and unrepeatable
emotions, taking part in many group games. Birthday parties are organized
in a modern structure, which ensures safety and enjoyment.
