The design puts the relationship between external and internal as the most important aspect of the building, staying faithful to its genius loci. The relationship between internal and external spaces is made extremely subtle by the separation of the inside areas into two different levels, and the panoramic linking staircases that run along one side to the main entrance. This gives a sense of closeness to the three residences, each space seeming more intimate. The width of the spaces and varying levels within the house, along with the geometric simplicity of the design, create a secluded atmosphere. Solitary alcoves suggest different routes through the house, varying perspectives and changing the domestic backdrop.The apartments are three light and comfortable residences appropriate for families or to open for tourists with the possibility of having an ideally placed reception in one of the three apartments which are linked with the other two.
