Location

Villa Miriam is located in Jesi. Imposing and well kept walls, with foreparts and variously shaped towers, enclose and exalt the ancient area of the town. Within this solidly structured area are houses and palaces, streets that intersect, and medieval arches that create, all together, a very suggestive and peculiar atmosphere with those more or less quide corners following some particularly significant ones by Lorenzo Lotto, kept in the picture-gallery. The town, that was the home of great artists, among whom Gian Battista Pergolesi, offers also interesting opera season.
