Paradise Possible’s Itineraries
The suitcase of dreams
Thermal springs and wellbeing in Le Marche
‘Wellbeing’ means finding people-oriented places, in which you can rediscover the pleasure of relaxing in the silence of nature, thinking only of your own health and balance. If this feeling of wellbeing comes to you along with stunning vistas, green valleys and hills as well as a delicious cuisine, you’ll be sure to have arrived in Le Marche.
Not to be missed
Walking through the fields and valleys of the northern Marche, you will find along the way an oasis of relaxation in which you can enjoy beauty treatments and massages without giving up your pleasant holiday, and at the same time benefitting from the beneficial properties of spa waters.
Montegrimano Terme, immersed in an enchanting natural backdrop, is the ideal place to honour the rhythms and needs of both body and spirit. Here the modern thermal spa complex Montegrimano Thermae offers to its guests the wellbeing that comes from natural balance, awakening the natural resources of your entire organism.
Wellbeing also means breathing in pure air, and coupling the best food with healthy physical exercise. So, what could be better than a reinvigorating walk in the Parco del Sasso Simone e Simoncello? Spreading across 4847 hectares in the heart of the ancient Montefeltro, the park bears remnants of the ‘ideal’ city, La città del Sole, constructed by the Medici. It’s an evocative place, rich in legends, leading you through a gripping journey in time.
Macerata Feltria, which emerged during the medieval ages at the centre of a prosperous valley, is a place of great interest to archeology lovers. Here you’ll discover the roman remains of Pitinum Pisaurense, starting your visit at the beautiful medieval church Pieve di San Cessiano “in Pitino.” The numerous therapeutic properties of the sulfurous waters of Macerata Feltria were already known in the roman era, and today you can benefit from them thanks to the welcoming and efficient spa complex Pitinum Thermae.
Sassocorvaro is home to the “Rocca Ubaldinesca”, one of the most important masterpieces of Italian military architecture by Siena-bred Francesco di Giorgio Martini. This fortification, with its mysterious, alchemistic tortoise-shaped form, is the first example of a fortification built in defense against the terrible new army that was then forming, the bombarda.
