A beautiful place to Retire Abroad
“Our extensive gardens, are especially attractive in the spring with the considerable planting of bulbs, flowers.
Having lawned areas and a wide variety of shrubs, trees etc., including hibiscus, oleander, ornamental pomegranate etc..
The huge naturally wooded area, mainly acacia, poplar with oak and elm. There is a ready supply of fuel for the wood burning stove.
There is also enormous scope for the installation of a swimming pool in at least three locations. We have planted a small orchard of young apricot, plum, apple and nespola (loquat) trees.
Space ready planned and cleared for planting of an olive grove or more fruit trees. There are also large established and productive fig, walnut and wild cherry trees.
A very large handsome oak and elm also enhance the grounds. These gardens and grounds, often described by our visitors as "a delight" and "paradise" benefit from wide views of the valley and the distant hills.
In the summer evenings this tranquil place is graced by the song of nightingales and the spectacle of (in the season) a multitude of fireflies.
A variety of local wildlife including birds of all kinds especially the beautiful hoopoe, roe deer; porcupine and squirrel add to the interest of living here.
Wild boar are known to be around but are rarely if ever seen.”
