Ancona,
an open air arena

On travelling through this glorious piece of the Marches, you will find sun, sea, landscape, history and art.

They are unforgettable images.

Every season is wonderful but the colours of nature and genuine gastronomical flavours are to be especially savoured in Spring and Summer:

There are four jewels on the Conero Riviera.

Portonovo, which should be seen in sunlight in order to admire not only the spectacular broom flowers but also the magnificent fourteenth century Santa Maria Church.

The top of Mount Conero which offers breathtaking views and an ancient Abbey; Sirolo, which is small but magical, is as beautiful to see from above as from the sea.

The Mount Conero leaves an impressive mark on the coast and is characterised by its unique flora an fauna.

The aim of the specially created co-operative is to protect and make the most of the Park.

Numana, a once famous city, where there remains an important Antiquarium and where the long, wide beaches attract large numbers of tourists.

Apart from the tourist ports of Ancona and Numana, there are swimming pools and tennis courts as well as the golf-course which has recently been built in a picturesque area of Sirolo.

Excursions to Mount Conero and horseracing are also available.

Stockfish, fish soup, roast and fried fish and appetising hors d'oeuvres all accompanied by local DOC wines are characteristic of the cuisine in Ancona.

Farmhouses offer simple and tasty dishes, farmhouses products, horse-riding.
